Splitted AIDA Formula
Often it's a good idea to split AIDA message into two separate parts:
Attention + Interest
Desire + Action
The main goal of the splitting: Improving of so-called AIDA Inverted Triangle.
AIT is a diagram that shows the percentage of prospects you lose on each step of the AIDA message.

Factors of each step for triangle 2 are better than factors of triangle 1.

AIDAS Formula
One more letter (S) means satisfaction. Customers who are really happy with your product will return for more purchases and refer their friends.
Some other modifications:
AIDMA : AID+ Motivation +A
AIDPPC: AI+ Description-Persuasion-Proof-Close.
Mostly other sales formulas (like ACCA etc) are descendants of classic AIDA formula.
